Key Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care in a Labor, Delivery, Recovery, and Postpartum (LDRP) Birthing Center setting
- Monitor and assess laboring patients with a 1:5 patient ratio
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary care teams to ensure safe, patient-centered outcomes
- Utilize EPIC EMR for accurate and timely documentation
- Float to other units as needed — float requirements are non-negotiable
- Adhere to weekend and on-call requirements as directed by the facility
Required Qualifications
- Active Registered Nurse (RN) license
- Minimum 1 year of Labor and Delivery experience required
- Required Certifications: BLS, PALS, ACLS, and NRP
- Flu vaccination or client-approved exemption required November 1 – April 1
- Must be a travel candidate (local candidates are subject to a reduced rate structure)
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Experience in a high-volume or Level 2 Trauma-designated facility
- Familiarity with EPIC EMR system
- Patient-focused team player with a flexible, positive attitude
