Contract | Days | 36 hours/week | Every other weekend required

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care primarily on a Comprehensive Medical Unit (3 West)
• Float as needed between various Med-Surg units including Stroke, Oncology, Cardiac, and Observation
• Monitor and interpret telemetry readings accurately; competency will be assessed on day one
• Document and manage patient care using Epic EMR — proficiency is mandatory from day one
• Deliver care during day shift with every other weekend rotation; no on-call requirement

Required Qualifications

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of Ohio or compact equivalent
• Active BLS certification required
• Minimum 3 years of current/recent Telemetry and/or Stepdown experience
• Demonstrated Epic EMR proficiency required — must be documented at time of submission; no on-site training or refresher classes will be provided
• Must be able to pass a telemetry competency assessment on the first day of assignment

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Experience across multiple Med-Surg subspecialties such as Oncology, Cardiac, or Stroke
• Prior travel nursing experience in a similar acute care setting
