Contract | Travel | Days | 13-Week Assignment | Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM – 4:30 PM
Key Responsibilities
- Provide individualized occupational therapy services to patients in an inpatient acute rehabilitation setting
- Treat patients recovering from stroke, brain injury, neurological conditions, spinal cord injury, amputation, trauma, and orthopedic injury
- Develop and implement customized treatment plans aimed at maximizing patient independence and quality of life
- Collaborate with an interdisciplinary rehabilitation team to support patients throughout their recovery journey
- Document patient progress and adjust treatment approaches in accordance with clinical and regulatory standards
Required Qualifications
- Active Occupational Therapist (OT) license valid in the state of Texas
- National Board for Certification in Occupational Therapy (NBCOT) certification required
- Minimum of 2 years of occupational therapy experience
- Experience in an inpatient rehabilitation or acute care setting
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Prior experience in an Inpatient Rehabilitation Facility (IRF) environment
- Experience treating neurological, orthopedic, and spinal cord injury populations
- Familiarity with IRF documentation and compliance requirements
