Key Responsibilities

• Provide inpatient occupational therapy services within an acute care hospital setting
• Evaluate and treat orthopedic patients, including those seen on the day of surgery
• Deliver therapy services across inpatient units, with potential float to nearby sister facilities as needed
• Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation in accordance with facility standards
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary care teams to develop and implement individualized patient treatment plans

Required Qualifications

• Valid Washington State Occupational Therapy License (compact license must be in hand at time of submission)
• NBCOT Certification required
• BLS Certification required
• Minimum of 1 year of acute care experience
• Must commit to working 3 of the 5 designated holidays: Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve, Christmas Day, New Year's Eve, and New Year's Day
• Must live more than 50 miles from the facility to be eligible

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Inpatient orthopedic experience, particularly with post-surgical patients
• ICU experience is helpful
• First-time travelers are welcome to apply
