Registered Nurse – Medical Surgical / Telemetry

Contract | Night Shift | 3x12-Hour Shifts (7:00 PM – 7:00 AM) | Onsite

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care on a Medical Surgical / Telemetry unit with a 1:5 nurse-to-patient ratio
• Work every other weekend as part of the standard schedule
• Participate in on-call rotation as needed (on-call, when required, is limited to the first 4 hours)
• Float within scope to like units or sister facilities to meet staffing needs as required
• Document patient care accurately using Epic electronic health records
• Respond to emergency response team assignments during hurricane season (June–November) if applicable

Required Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of Medical Surgical / Telemetry RN experience
• Active South Carolina RN license or Multi-State Compact RN license (SC license must be active prior to start date)
• BLS certification required
• ACLS certification required
• Epic electronic health records experience required
• Must live at least 60 miles from the facility to be eligible; locals considered on a case-by-case basis

Preferred Experience / Skills

• NIHSS certification preferred
• First-time travelers are welcome to apply
