Key Responsibilities

Provide direct nursing care to acutely ill adult patients in a Medical Surgical setting
Support patients undergoing both emergent and elective surgical procedures
Deliver care in accordance with the highest professional nursing standards alongside nurse assistants
Maintain accurate patient assessments and documentation throughout each shift
Pursue and maintain specialty certification in Medical Surgical Nursing as encouraged by the unit

Required Qualifications

Current, unencumbered Oregon RN license required at time of submission
Healthcare Provider Level AHA BLS certification required
NIHSS certification required

Preferred Experience / Skills

Experience in a Medical Surgical inpatient environment
Specialty certification in Medical Surgical Nursing
Strong clinical assessment and documentation skills
