Schedule / Job Type

Contract | Nights, 3x12-Hour Shifts (7:00 PM – 7:00 AM) | Every Other Weekend Required | Holiday Rotation

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care in a Stepdown/IMC/PCU setting with a 1:4 nurse-to-patient ratio
• Rotate across like units or sister facilities as needed, consistent with staff nurse expectations
• Participate in holiday rotation and every-other-weekend scheduling
• Document patient care accurately using Epic electronic health record system
• Be prepared to support emergency response teams during hurricane season (June–November)

Required Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of ICU and/or Stepdown experience required
• Active South Carolina RN license or Compact license must be in hand prior to start date
• Required Certifications: ACLS and BLS
• Must live more than 60 miles from the facility to be eligible — no local candidates accepted

Preferred Experience / Skills

• NIHSS certification preferred
• Prior travel nursing experience; first-time travelers with ICU and/or Stepdown background will be considered
• Familiarity with Epic charting system
