Travel Registered Nurse – Medical Surgical (Nights)

Contract | Travel | 13-Week Assignment | Night Shift (7:00 PM – 7:00 AM) | Onsite

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care on a Medical Surgical unit in accordance with facility protocols and nursing standards
• Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate individualized patient care plans
• Monitor and document patient conditions, vital signs, and responses to treatment throughout the night shift
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary care teams to ensure safe and effective patient outcomes
• Administer medications and treatments as ordered, adhering to safety and compliance guidelines

Required Qualifications

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license valid in the state of Texas or a compact state license
• Minimum of 1 year of Medical Surgical nursing experience
• Ability to work 12-hour night shifts (7:00 PM – 7:00 AM)
• Current BLS certification required

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Prior travel nursing experience in a Medical Surgical setting
• Familiarity with acute care environments and high patient-volume units
• Strong critical thinking and adaptability skills in fast-paced clinical settings
