Travel Registered Nurse – Telemetry

Contract | 13-Week Travel Assignment | Days, 7:00 AM – 7:00 PM | Full-Time | Onsite

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care on a 32-bed Telemetry/Med-Surg/PCU unit with patient ratios of 4–5:1
• Monitor patients using a GE Telemetry system and document care using the Meditech EMR
• Perform IV and Foley catheter insertions as part of routine unit procedures
• Assist with chest tube removal in accordance with unit protocols
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team including charge nurses, CNAs, and sitters across day and night shifts
• Demonstrate initiative and serve as an engaged, proactive team member within the unit

Required Qualifications

• Active and unencumbered Registered Nurse (RN) license valid in Colorado
• Minimum 1 year of current acute care hospital Telemetry experience
• Current BLS certification required
• Current ACLS certification required

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Experience caring for post-operative CABG patients
• Prior experience with Meditech EMR
• Outgoing, team-oriented personality with a willingness to take initiative
