Job Title
Travel RN – PCU / Progressive Care Unit
Location
Wichita, KS | Progressive Care Unit (PCU)
Schedule / Job Type
Contract | Travel | 13 Weeks | Night Shift (7:00 PM – 7:00 AM) | Every other weekend required
Key Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care in a 14-bed Progressive Care Unit with a 4:1 patient-to-nurse ratio
- Operate and monitor equipment including chest tubes, IV pumps, and various other drains
- Document patient care and clinical information using Meditech EMR
- Collaborate with RNs and PCTs across day and night shifts to ensure continuity of care
- Float to other units as needed per facility guidelines
Required Qualifications
- Minimum 1 year of current hospital PCU experience
- BLS certification required
- ACLS certification required
- NIH Stroke Scale certification required
- Active and unrestricted RN license
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Knowledge of and experience with medication drips
- Experience with central line management
- Catch recovery experience
