Travel RN – Cardiovascular Progressive Care Unit (CVPCU)

Schedule / Job Type

Contract | Travel | 13 Weeks | Nights (7:00 PM – 7:00 AM) | 36 Guaranteed Hours per Week | Every Other Weekend Required

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care in a Cardiovascular Progressive Care Unit setting, including post-procedural monitoring and management
• Care for patients following procedures such as Cardiac Catheterizations and post-operative CABGs
• Document patient assessments, interventions, and outcomes using the Meditech electronic documentation system
• Float to sister step-down and medical-surgical units as needed (reduced assignment on med-surg units)
• Adhere to unit attendance policies and all facility guidelines throughout the duration of the assignment

Required Qualifications

• Active Texas RN License required — temporary licenses will not be accepted
• ACLS certification required
• BLS certification required
• Minimum 2+ years of hospital RN experience
• Cardiovascular experience required

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Experience with Meditech electronic health records system
• Prior experience in a step-down, PCU, or cardiovascular specialty unit
