Travel Registered Nurse – Orthopedic

Contract | Travel | Days (7:00 AM – 7:00 PM) | 13-Week Assignment

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care on a 36-bed Orthopedic/Neurology unit with a 5:1 RN-to-patient ratio
• Care for patients undergoing total joint procedures including knee, hip, and shoulder replacements, as well as spine surgery
• Utilize and document in Meditech EMR
• Operate and manage orthopedic equipment including immobilizers, braces, and cold treatment devices
• Collaborate with charge RNs, patient care technicians, and unit secretaries to deliver high-quality, team-based care

Required Qualifications

• Active RN license valid for the state of Colorado
• Minimum 1 year of current Orthopedic RN or Medical/Surgical experience in a hospital setting
• BLS certification required

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Orthopedic and/or spine surgery experience strongly preferred
• ACLS certification
• Energetic, empathetic personality with a good sense of humor and strong team collaboration skills
