Key Responsibilities

Provide direct nursing care to acutely ill adult patients on a Medical Surgical unit
Support patients undergoing both emergent and elective surgical procedures
Deliver care in accordance with the highest standards of professional nursing practice
Collaborate with registered nurses and nurse assistants to ensure comprehensive patient care
Monitor and assess patient conditions, responding appropriately to changes in status

Required Qualifications

Current, unencumbered Oregon RN license required at time of submission
Healthcare Provider Level AHA BLS certification required
NIH Stroke Scale (NIHSS) certification required

Preferred Experience / Skills

Specialty certification in Medical Surgical Nursing
Experience caring for adult patients in an acute Medical Surgical setting
Familiarity with both emergent and elective surgical patient populations
