Contract | 13 Weeks | 12-Hour Night Shifts (7:00 PM – 7:00 AM) | 36 Hours Guaranteed Per Week | Every Weekend | Every Other Holiday | Onsite

Key Responsibilities

• Provide general nursing care for a primarily geriatric patient population on a 25-bed Medical-Surgical unit, managing conditions such as CHF, COPD, and diabetes with patient ratios of 1:4–1:5 days and 1:6 nights
• Float to the Emergency Department within scope of competency as required
• Utilize Epic EMR for accurate and thorough patient charting
• Operate CareScape patient monitors and Pyxis medication dispensing systems
• Participate in on-call rotation; call-back minimum is 2 hours
• Adhere to required scrub color policy (any colored scrubs permitted)

Required Qualifications

• Current Michigan Registered Nurse (RN) license
• American Heart Association (AHA) Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required
• Minimum 2+ years of Medical-Surgical nursing experience
• Strong charting experience with Epic EMR, CareScape patient monitors, and Pyxis
• Must reside at least 50 miles from the facility to be eligible

Preferred Experience / Skills

• ACLS certification preferred but not required
• Emergency Department (ED) experience highly preferred
• Ability to work across multiple departments (Med/Surg and ED) is ideal
