Schedule / Job Type

Contract | 13 Weeks | Full-Time | Onsite | Days | Monday – Thursday, 7:00 a.m. – 5:30 p.m. (40 hours/week) | No weekends, holidays, or call required; occasional Friday coverage may be requested

Key Responsibilities

• Administer chemotherapy and infusion medications as ordered, and monitor patients for adverse reactions and changes in condition
• Perform IV starts, port access, and central line care; operate and monitor infusion pumps
• Conduct patient assessments, vital signs, and ongoing treatment monitoring
• Provide patient education regarding treatments, medications, and symptom management
• Document all care within Cerner EMR and coordinate with oncology providers and the interdisciplinary team
• Assist with treatment preparation, chart review, lab orders, treatment verification, and insurance authorization

Required Qualifications

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of Colorado (or compact eligibility)
• Minimum 2 years of oncology nursing experience
• OCN (Oncology Certified Nurse) certification required
• ONS Chemotherapy/Biotherapy certification required
• AHA BLS certification required
• ACLS certification required

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Outpatient infusion setting experience
• Port and/or PICC access experience
• Prior experience administering chemotherapy in an oncology infusion clinic
