Key Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care in an ICU setting managing diagnoses including ARDS, Sepsis, Stroke, STEMI, DKA, post-op complications, cardiogenic shock, GIB, COPD exacerbation, encephalopathy, liver failure, drug overdose, and ESRD on CRRT
- Maintain a patient ratio of 1:2–3, with the possibility of a third patient assignment as census demands
- Utilize unit systems including Pyxis, Epic, and SBAR for documentation and medication management
- Float within the facility and within scope of practice as needed
- Work every other weekend and adhere to the facility's holiday coverage policy
- Comply with all onboarding and compliance requirements to ensure timely start
Required Qualifications
- Active Georgia RN license or Compact RN license required at time of submission
- BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS certifications required prior to start
- Minimum of 2 years of ICU experience (first-time travelers accepted)
- Must adhere to all RTO policies; all RTO must be finalized at time of submission — no RTO or schedule requests accepted post-offer or onsite, and no RTO during orientation week
- Local candidates are accepted
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Experience caring for adult to geriatric patient populations in a high-acuity ICU environment
- Familiarity with CRRT management and complex critical care diagnoses
- Prior experience with Epic EMR and Pyxis medication dispensing systems
