Key Responsibilities
- Provide Phase I post-anesthesia recovery care for patients in a 15-bed PACU unit
- Manage Phase II discharge planning and patient education prior to release
- Maintain a 2:1 patient ratio in a fast-paced, high-acuity recovery environment
- Operate and monitor patients using GE monitoring equipment
- Document patient care accurately using the Meditech EMR system
Required Qualifications
- Active Registered Nurse (RN) license
- Minimum 1 year of current hospital PACU experience
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required
- Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification required
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Pre-operative nursing experience
- Upbeat, adaptable personality well-suited for a fast-paced surgical recovery environment
