Key Responsibilities

• Perform triage of patients using critical thinking and comprehensive assessment skills
• Manage IV/IO access, chest tube management, urinary catheterization, and critical care drip administration
• Monitor and interpret cardiac rhythms and respond appropriately to changes in patient status
• Provide critical care assessment and management within a 16-bed Emergency Department at a 4:1 variable patient ratio
• Document patient care accurately using FirstNet – Cerner EMR

Required Qualifications

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) licensure in Tennessee or compact state eligibility
• BLS, ACLS, PALS, and NRP certifications required
• CPI certification required (may be obtained after contract start; provided on site)
• Minimum 1 year of Emergency Department experience
• Proficiency with IV skills and cardiac monitoring competency
• Must reside more than 50 miles from the facility to be eligible

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Experience with critical care drips and hemodynamic monitoring
• Familiarity with FirstNet – Cerner EMR platform
• Experience in a high-acuity or trauma-level emergency department setting
