Registered Nurse (RN) – IMC / PCU / Stepdown

Contract | Night Shift | Onsite | Every other weekend required | Holiday rotation required

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care on an 18-bed Intermediate Care Unit (IMU) with a 1:3 nurse-to-patient ratio
• Manage stepdown-level patients including post-MI with sheath pull, ADHF, post-op vascular, GI bleed, and DKA
• Titrate vasoactive and cardiac drips including Nitroglycerin, Neo, and Cardene per unit protocols
• Independently read and interpret telemetry strips for all assigned patients
• Manage patients on BiPAP and CPAP respiratory support
• Float to other units as needed (PRN)

Required Qualifications

• Active RN license valid in West Virginia or a compact state
• ACLS certification required
• BLS certification required
• Prior stepdown, PCU, or IMC nursing experience required
• Demonstrated ability to titrate drips independently
• Ability to read and interpret telemetry strips

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Experience with post-operative vascular and cardiac patient populations
• Familiarity with vasoactive drip management including Nitroglycerin, Neosynephrine, and Nicardipine
• Experience working alongside PCT support staff in a team-based care model
