Travel Registered Nurse – Emergency Department (Night Shift)

Frankfort, KY | Acute Care – Emergency Department

Contract | Travel | 13 Weeks | Nights, 7:00 PM – 7:00 AM | Projected Start: 09/28/2026
Key Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care in a 28-bed Emergency Department with a 1:4 patient ratio
- Operate and monitor patients using GE monitors, Lifepaks, Baxter IV pumps, Ranger rapid infuser, and Ranger blood warmer
- Document and manage patient records using Meditech Expanse EMR
- Deliver care in a Level 3 Trauma Center, Accredited Chest Pain Center with Primary PCI, and Stroke Certified facility
- Collaborate with a multidisciplinary night shift team including CNC, fellow RNs, Unit Clerk, and Greeter
Required Qualifications
- Active Registered Nurse (RN) license valid in Kentucky or compact state eligibility
- Minimum 2 years of Emergency Department nursing experience
- Required certifications: BLS, ACLS, PALS, TNCC, and NIH Stroke Scale
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Prior travel nursing experience in an emergency department setting
- Familiarity with Meditech Expanse EMR
- Experience in trauma, chest pain, or stroke care environments
