Travel RN – Cardiac Med/Surg (Nights)

Schedule / Job Type

Contract | 13 Weeks | Night Shift (7:00 PM – 7:00 AM) | Onsite

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care on a Cardiac Med/Surg unit during overnight shifts
• Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate individualized nursing care for cardiac and medical-surgical patients
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary care teams to ensure safe and effective patient outcomes
• Monitor and respond to changes in patient condition, initiating appropriate interventions as needed
• Accurately document all patient care activities in accordance with facility policies and standards

Required Qualifications

• Active RN license valid in Tennessee or a compact state license
• Minimum of 2 years of experience as a Registered Nurse
• Current BLS certification required
• Experience in a Medical-Surgical or Cardiac Med/Surg setting

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Prior travel nursing experience
• Familiarity with cardiac monitoring and telemetry
• Strong critical thinking and adaptability skills in a fast-paced hospital environment
