Contract | 13-Week Assignment | Nights | 3×12-Hour Shifts (36 hrs/week) | Onsite

Key Responsibilities

• Provide advanced PCU-level care in a unit that operates similarly to an ICU environment
• Care for 24-hour post-CABG cardiac surgery patients, including those with chest tubes
• Manage patients with LVADs (facility orientation/course provided)
• Maintain patient ratios of 1:4 or 1:5
• Complete a proctored, non-multiple-choice rhythm identification test upon start (two attempts allowed)

Required Qualifications

• Active Georgia RN license or valid Compact RN license — must be in hand at time of submission
• ACLS certification required
• Minimum 18 months of IMC/PCU/Step Down experience within the past 3 years
• Must live at least 50 miles from the facility to be eligible — no local travelers
• Navy Blue scrubs required

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Experience with post-cardiac surgery patients, including chest tube management
• Familiarity with LVAD patient care
• Strong cardiac rhythm interpretation skills
