Contract | Travel | 13-Week Assignment | Days, 7:00 AM – 7:30 PM | 36 Guaranteed Hours per Week | Rotating Weekends
Key Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care in a Medical Surgical ICU setting, utilizing strong critical thinking and clinical assessment skills
- Perform and assist with procedures including chest tubes, tracheostomies, intubations, central lines, arterial lines, NG tubes, Foley catheters, GI scopes, and dressing changes
- Document accurately and efficiently using the Meditech electronic health records system
- Float to other units as required per facility floating policy
- Adhere to strict punctuality and attendance standards, including badging in and out and taking a full 30-minute lunch break
Required Qualifications
- Active Texas RN License required — Temporary licenses will not be accepted
- Minimum 2–3 years of ICU experience
- ACLS certification required
- BLS certification required
- NIH Stroke Certification required
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Background in MICU and/or MSICU settings
- Experience with Meditech charting and order entry
