Key Responsibilities

Provide direct patient care on a Medical Surgical Oncology unit
Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate individualized patient care plans
Administer medications and treatments in accordance with physician orders and facility protocols
Monitor and document patient progress, changes in condition, and responses to treatment
Collaborate with interdisciplinary care teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes

Required Qualifications

Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of Texas or a compact state license
Experience in Medical Surgical nursing
Current BLS certification required

Preferred Experience / Skills

Prior experience in an oncology or Med/Surg Oncology setting
Familiarity with oncology medications and treatment protocols
Strong critical thinking and patient assessment skills
