Registered Nurse (RN) – Medical Surgical / Telemetry Float Pool

Contract | Night Shift (7:00 PM – 7:00 AM) | Onsite
Key Responsibilities
- Float across multiple units including General MS-Tele, Cardiac, Neuro, Oncology, Rehab, Renal, Bariatrics, Ortho, Trauma, and ED Observation
- Provide direct patient care to an adult and geriatric population with a nurse-to-patient ratio of 1:5–6 based on acuity
- Titrate Heparin drips as required per patient care needs
- Operate and monitor respiratory therapy equipment including vents, CPAP, and BiPAP
- Maintain flexibility to fill scheduling gaps as directed by unit leadership; all time-off requests must be submitted prior to assignment start
- Participate in weekend and holiday rotation as required (6–9 weekend shifts per 6-week schedule)
Required Qualifications
- Active RN license in the state of Colorado (or compact eligibility)
- BLS certification required
- ACLS certification required
- Minimum 2 years of Medical Surgical / Telemetry experience
- Must live at least 60 miles from the facility to be eligible; valid driver's license must be submitted
- Must be present in state for the full week of orientation, even if initial modules are completed remotely
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Prior experience in a neuro patient care setting
- Experience floating across multiple acuity levels including PCU/Stepdown and ICU (low-acuity holds)
- Familiarity with post-surgical patient populations including orthopedic, gynecology, urology, and general surgery
