Contract | 13 Weeks | 36 Hours/Week | 12-Hour Variable (Rotating) Shifts | Every Other Weekend & Every Other Holiday | Onsite

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care on a combined Medical-Surgical and ICU unit in a critical access hospital setting
• Maintain nurse-to-patient ratios of 1:4–5 on Days/Evenings and 1:6–7 on Evenings/Nights
• Perform telemetry monitoring, including the ability to read and interpret tele strips
• Assist with supportive tasks in other departments as needed (e.g., vital checks) without assuming a full patient load
• May be required to float to other regional locations to provide supplemental support
• Adhere to facility infection control policies, including masking requirements during flu season if vaccination is declined

Required Qualifications

• Active Wisconsin RN license or valid Compact RN license
• ARC or AHA Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required
• ACLS certification required
• PALS certification required
• Minimum 2 years of RN experience
• Must live at least 50 miles from the facility to be eligible

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Emergency Department (ED) or ICU background highly preferred
• Experience with Epic EMR
• Comfort working in a combined Med-Surg/ICU environment within a critical access hospital
