Provide direct patient care to laboring patients throughout the antepartum, intrapartum, and postpartum phases
Monitor fetal heart rate patterns and maternal vital signs, escalating concerns to the care team as appropriate
Assist with and support vaginal and cesarean deliveries in collaboration with physicians and midwives
Administer medications, IV fluids, and oxytocin per provider orders and unit protocols
Availability required every other weekend as part of the standard schedule

Required Qualifications

Active Registered Nurse (RN) license valid in the state of Kansas or compact licensure eligibility
Previous travel nursing experience required
Demonstrated experience in Labor and Delivery nursing
Current BLS and applicable specialty certifications (e.g., NRP, ACLS, EFM) as required by the unit

Preferred Experience / Skills

Experience with high-risk obstetric patients
Familiarity with electronic fetal monitoring and obstetric documentation systems
Strong ability to adapt quickly to new clinical environments and team workflows
