Contract | Nights (3x12-Hour Shifts, 7:00 PM – 7:00 AM) | Every Other Weekend Required

Key Responsibilities

• Serve as hospital float pool staff, rotating across multiple units including Emergency Department, ER Hold, Medical-Surgical, Telemetry, and Stepdown/PCU
• Provide direct patient care within scope of practice across assigned units, adapting to varying patient populations and acuity levels
• Maintain patient-to-nurse ratios of up to 1:7 in Medical-Surgical settings
• Remain flexible to facility scheduling needs; no schedule requests can be accommodated post-offer or onsite
• Work required major holidays as determined by the number falling within the assignment period
• Complete all compliance onboarding requirements and orientation modules within designated deadlines

Required Qualifications

• Active Georgia RN license or Compact RN license required at time of submission
• Minimum of 2 years of nursing experience required; first-time travelers are not accepted
• Must be flexible with scheduling — no schedule requests can be requested, approved, or accommodated due to float pool assignment
• All RTO must be finalized at time of submission; maximum of 7 days RTO per contract
• Full compliance with onboarding requirements must be completed prior to start date
• Local candidates are welcome and accepted

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Prior experience working in a float pool or multi-unit environment
• Experience in Emergency Department, Telemetry, or PCU/Stepdown settings
• Demonstrated ability to adapt quickly to varying patient care environments and acuity levels
