Contract | 13-Week Travel Assignment | Days | 4 x 10-Hour Shifts | 6:30 AM – 3:00 PM | Projected Start: 09/14/2026

Key Responsibilities

• Obtain and record initial patient assessments, establishing care priorities based on age, symptoms, and psychosocial needs; reassess patients systematically to identify trends requiring intervention
• Develop, implement, and evaluate individualized, measurable plans of care consistent with Nursing Standards of Care
• Make comprehensive nursing decisions based on interpretation of clinical findings and patient outcomes, modifying the plan of care as needed
• Participate in patient and family health education and discharge planning; implement and document timely, appropriate interventions
• Coordinate team assignments, delegate unit work appropriately, and follow up on delegated tasks to ensure quality and completeness of patient care
• Perform Point of Care testing procedures and float to other departments as needed

Required Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited Registered Nursing program
• Current New Mexico RN license or current Compact state license
• BLS Certification from the American Heart Association (AHA) required
• ACLS Certification from the American Heart Association (AHA) required
• Minimum 1 year of relevant experience
• Availability for 1–2 on-call nights per week and 1–2 twenty-four-hour weekend call shifts; charge duties as needed while on call

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Prior experience in an Operating Room or surgical setting
• Proficiency with EPIC EMR
• Experience with age-appropriate patient care across varied patient populations
• Demonstrated ability to adapt readily to changes in work environment or schedule
