Key Responsibilities
- Provide comprehensive speech-language pathology services to patients within an acute care hospital setting
- Evaluate, diagnose, and treat patients with communication, cognitive, and swallowing disorders
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans in accordance with facility protocols and patient goals
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary care teams to coordinate patient care and discharge planning
- Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation in compliance with facility and regulatory standards
Required Qualifications
- Active Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) license valid in the state of Oregon
- Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP) from ASHA preferred or required per facility standards
- Minimum of 1 year of clinical experience as a Speech Language Pathologist
- Ability to fulfill a 13-week travel contract beginning on or around September 14, 2026
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Prior experience in an acute care or hospital-based setting
- Experience with dysphagia evaluation and treatment, including instrumental assessments
- Strong adaptability and ability to integrate quickly into new clinical environments
