Registered Nurse - Oncology

Schedule / Job Type

Contract | Full-Time | Days | Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM – 4:30 PM | Onsite

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care in an outpatient hematology-oncology setting
• Administer chemotherapy in accordance with facility protocols and established safety standards
• Monitor and assess patient responses to treatment, documenting findings accurately
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary care teams to coordinate and deliver comprehensive oncology care
• Must be available to work 2 major holidays (Thanksgiving Day, Christmas Day, or New Year's Day) and 1 minor holiday (the Friday after Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve, or New Year's Eve)

Required Qualifications

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in good standing
• Minimum of 2 years of recent experience in oncology nursing
• AHA BLS Certification required
• NIH Stroke Scale Certification required
• Chemotherapy Certification required
• Must live at least 50 miles from the facility to be eligible

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Trauma Level 1 experience
• ICU experience
• Additional oncology-specific training or certifications
