Contract | 13-Week Travel Assignment | 3x12-Hour Mid-Shifts (3:00 PM – 3:00 AM) | Every Other Weekend and Holiday Required | One 8-Hour On-Call Shift Per 4-Week Schedule
Key Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care in a high-volume Emergency Room setting across 36 guaranteed hours per week
- Assess, triage, and manage emergency patients in accordance with department protocols and standards of care
- Document all patient care activities accurately using Epic EMR (required)
- Participate in on-call obligations as scheduled (one 8-hour call shift per 4-week period)
- Adhere to facility dress code, including navy blue scrubs
Required Qualifications
- Minimum 2+ years of Emergency Room nursing experience
- Active Virginia RN License or valid Compact State License
- ACLS certification (AHA only)
- BLS certification (AHA only)
- PALS certification (AHA only)
- NIHSS certification
- Proficiency with Epic EMR is required
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Ability to commit to an extended assignment of 16 weeks is strongly preferred
- Experience working in a large, high-acuity Emergency Department
