Travel RN – Medical Surgical (Nights)

Schedule / Job Type

Contract | 13 Weeks | Nights (7:00 PM – 7:00 AM) | 36 Hours per Week | Onsite

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care on a 24-bed Medical Surgical Combination unit with a 1:6 patient ratio
• Utilize the Paragon electronic health record (EHR) system for documentation and care coordination
• Float to other units based on rotation schedule as needed
• Adhere to weekend rotation requirements (every other or every third weekend)
• Apply Medical Surgical competencies to assess, plan, and implement individualized patient care

Required Qualifications

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license
• BLS certification required
• ACLS certification required
• Minimum 2 years of Medical Surgical nursing experience
• Must live at least 60 miles from the facility to be eligible as a travel candidate

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Experience with the Paragon EHR system
• Familiarity with orthopedics, cardiology, or general surgery patient populations
• Prior travel nursing experience
