Travel RN – ICU (Night Shift)

Contract | 13-Week Travel Assignment | Nights, 7:00 PM – 7:00 AM | Every Other Weekend Required

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care in a 24-bed ICU setting with patient ratios of 1:1 or 1:2
• Operate and monitor advanced equipment including ventilators, Swan-Ganz catheters, Impella devices, and intra-aortic balloon pumps
• Perform and assist with procedures such as intubation, central line management, bronchoscopy, EVD management, ICP monitoring, pacers, and bolts
• Float to a secondary ICU unit as needed based on census and staffing requirements
• Deliver excellent customer service and maintain a high standard of patient-centered care
• May be placed on call within the same scheduled shift if census does not require presence; no additional on-call obligations beyond that shift

Required Qualifications

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license valid in Texas or compact state eligibility
• Minimum 1 year of ICU experience — candidates without ICU experience will not be considered
• BLS certification required
• ACLS certification required

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Level 1 or Level 2 trauma experience
• Cardiovascular surgery experience
• Familiarity with advanced hemodynamic monitoring and critical care procedures
