Contract | 13 Weeks | Nights (18:45–07:15) | 36 Hours per Week | Onsite
Key Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care on a Medical/Surgical unit during night shift hours
- Float to other departments on a rotation basis as needed
- Collaborate as part of a team-oriented nursing staff to ensure quality patient outcomes
- Maintain compliance with all facility and unit-specific protocols and documentation requirements
- Utilize electronic health record systems; experience with Meditech is helpful
Required Qualifications
- Current Washington State RN license or a Multistate Compact RN license (accepted with required verifications)
- Approved 6-hour suicide prevention training required for compact license holders
- Verification of demographics through Nursys required for compact license holders
- Current BLS certification required
- Current ACLS certification required
- NIHSS certification required
- Must be a team player and willing to float to other departments in rotation
- Requested time off must be pre-approved and will be added to the end of the contract
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Prior experience with Meditech electronic health records
- Previous Medical/Surgical nursing experience in an acute care setting
