Travel RN – Labor & Delivery (Nights)

Contract | 13 Weeks | Night Shift (7:00 PM – 7:00 AM) | Onsite

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care on an 18-bed Labor & Delivery unit following AWHONN guidelines
• Manage active labor and monitor patients using GE fetal monitoring equipment
• Circulate cesarean sections and provide 1:1 care for Pitocin administration, C-section delivery, and recovery
• Perform triage, support vaginal deliveries, and assist with procedures such as iron infusions
• Maintain patient ratios of 1:1 for high-acuity patients and 2–3 for antepartum patients
• Float to Mother-Baby unit as needed and fulfill 1–2 on-call shifts per schedule

Required Qualifications

• Active RN license valid in Texas (or compact state eligibility)
• Minimum 1 year of Labor & Delivery experience
• Demonstrated labor management skills — candidates without this will not be considered
• Experience circulating cesarean sections — candidates without this will not be considered
• Familiarity with GE fetal monitoring equipment
• Experience with CPN Meditech EMR preferred

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Experience with triage, antepartum care, and iron infusions
• Comfort working in a high-volume, fast-paced Labor & Delivery environment
• Previous travel nursing experience
