Schedule / Job Type

Contract | Nights (7:00 PM – 7:30 AM) | 3x12-hour shifts | Expected 36 hours/week | Every other weekend required | One winter holiday commitment required

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care on a 30-bed Telemetry/Stroke unit with a 5:1 nurse-to-patient ratio
• Care for patients presenting with chest pain, cardiac arrhythmias, post-cardiac catheterization needs, stroke, sepsis, and alcohol/substance withdrawal
• Monitor and interpret telemetry data to assess patient status and respond to changes in condition
• Float to other units as needed
• Adhere to stroke protocols and unit-specific clinical standards; NIHSS certification required

Required Qualifications

• Active RN license in Pennsylvania (or compact equivalent)
• Minimum 2 years of Telemetry RN experience
• Previous travel nursing experience required
• Stroke care experience required
• BLS certification required
• ACLS certification required
• NIHSS certification required

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Experience caring for post-cardiac catheterization patients
• Familiarity with sepsis protocols and substance withdrawal management
• Comfort floating to multiple units within an acute care environment
