Schedule / Job Type

Contract | Rotating Shifts | Onsite — Operating hours Monday through Friday, 6:45 AM to 11:15 PM; expected 40 hours per week (32 hours possible during holiday weeks). Call coverage is required 24/7; travelers are assigned call on average 1–2 times per week plus up to 2 weekends per month. Must reside within a 30-minute radius of the facility to meet call-back requirements.

Key Responsibilities

Independently circulate a broad range of surgical cases including General, Orthopedic, Vascular, Ophthalmic, Urology, ENT, Endoscopy, Robotic, Obstetrics, and Gynecology
Assist with room turnover and post-case cleaning to maintain efficient OR workflow across 4–6 simultaneously running suites
Transport patients as needed throughout the perioperative process
Participate in surgical case scheduling to support daily OR operations
Utilize facility systems including EPIC, Pyxis, and Provation
Participate in on-call rotation, including weekends, with timely call-back response within 30 minutes

Required Qualifications

Active State of Hawaii Registered Nurse (RN) license required
Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required
Minimum 2–3 years of experience independently circulating cases in a hospital-based OR setting
Must reside within a 30-minute radius of the facility to be eligible for call-back assignments

Preferred Experience / Skills

Ability to scrub surgical cases in addition to circulating
Experience working in a high-volume, fast-paced OR environment with multiple simultaneous rooms
Familiarity with robotic-assisted surgical procedures and C-section coverage
