Contract | Days | 3x12-Hour Shifts | Rotating Weekends | Variable start times (0700, 1000, or 1200) | No nights required | Block scheduling required
Key Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care in an Emergency Room setting within a Critical Access facility
- Maintain expected patient ratios of 1:3–4
- Document patient care accurately using Epic electronic health records
- Participate in rotating weekend shifts as scheduled
- Commit to working 3 of 5 designated holidays (Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve, Christmas Day, New Year's Eve, New Year's Day)
- May be expected to float to nearby sister facilities as needed
Required Qualifications
- Active RN license required; compact license must be in hand at time of submission
- Minimum of 1 year of Emergency Room nursing experience
- Must submit all RTO and scheduling requests upfront at time of submission — post-offer RTO requests may not be accommodated
- 2 professional references covering at least 1 year of experience within the last 3 years required prior to start (Charge RNs/Leads accepted)
- Must live at least 50 miles from the facility to be eligible as a standard traveler (locals accepted under separate terms)
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Prior experience working in a Critical Access or rural hospital environment
- Familiarity with Epic charting system
- Experience with variable shift start times and flexible scheduling
