Travel RN – CVICU (Cardiovascular Intensive Care Unit)

Contract | 13-Week Travel Assignment | Days, 7:00 AM – 7:00 PM

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care in a Cardiovascular Intensive Care Unit (CVICU) setting
• Monitor and assess critically ill cardiovascular patients, identifying and responding to changes in condition
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary care teams to develop and implement individualized patient care plans
• Administer medications, treatments, and interventions in accordance with physician orders and facility protocols
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation of patient assessments, care, and outcomes

Required Qualifications

• Active RN license valid in the state of Texas (or compact license eligibility)
• Minimum of 1 year of ICU or CVICU nursing experience
• Current BLS and ACLS certifications required
• Ability to meet facility credentialing and compliance requirements for travel staff

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Prior travel nursing experience in an ICU or CVICU environment
• Experience with hemodynamic monitoring and management of cardiovascular patients
• Familiarity with ventilator management and vasoactive drip titration
