Key Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care in a Cardiovascular Intensive Care Unit (CVICU) setting
- Monitor and assess critically ill cardiovascular patients, identifying and responding to changes in condition
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary care teams to develop and implement individualized patient care plans
- Administer medications, treatments, and interventions in accordance with physician orders and facility protocols
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation of patient assessments, care, and outcomes
Required Qualifications
- Active RN license valid in the state of Texas (or compact license eligibility)
- Minimum of 1 year of ICU or CVICU nursing experience
- Current BLS and ACLS certifications required
- Ability to meet facility credentialing and compliance requirements for travel staff
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Prior travel nursing experience in an ICU or CVICU environment
- Experience with hemodynamic monitoring and management of cardiovascular patients
- Familiarity with ventilator management and vasoactive drip titration
