Seasonal Travel RN – PCU / Progressive Care Unit

Contract | 13 Weeks | Night Shift (7:00 PM – 7:00 AM) | Onsite
Key Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care on a 20-bed Progressive Care Unit with a 4:1 patient-to-nurse ratio
- Perform continuous cardiac monitoring using GE cardiac monitoring systems and manage IV therapy via Hospira IV pumps
- Demonstrate strong dysrhythmia recognition skills and manage patients on critical drips
- Float as needed to Med/Surg, ICU (border patients), and the Emergency Department (ED holds)
- Document patient care accurately using the Expanse EMR system
- Participate in every-other-weekend scheduling or equivalent based on staffing needs
Required Qualifications
- Active Compact RN License required at time of submission
- Minimum 2 years of PCU experience in a hospital setting
- BLS and ACLS certifications required
- NIAH certification required
- Strong dysrhythmia recognition skills and critical drip experience
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Pre- and post-cardiac catheterization and pacer patient care experience
- Prior experience within HCA-affiliated facilities
- Self-directed, confident, and positive demeanor with strong communication skills and a team-oriented approach
