Seasonal Travel RN – PCU / Progressive Care Unit

Schedule / Job Type

Contract | 13 Weeks | Night Shift (7:00 PM – 7:00 AM) | Onsite

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care on a 20-bed Progressive Care Unit with a 4:1 patient-to-nurse ratio
• Perform continuous cardiac monitoring using GE cardiac monitoring systems and manage IV therapy via Hospira IV pumps
• Demonstrate strong dysrhythmia recognition skills and manage patients on critical drips
• Float as needed to Med/Surg, ICU (border patients), and the Emergency Department (ED holds)
• Document patient care accurately using the Expanse EMR system
• Participate in every-other-weekend scheduling or equivalent based on staffing needs

Required Qualifications

• Active Compact RN License required at time of submission
• Minimum 2 years of PCU experience in a hospital setting
• BLS and ACLS certifications required
• NIAH certification required
• Strong dysrhythmia recognition skills and critical drip experience

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Pre- and post-cardiac catheterization and pacer patient care experience
• Prior experience within HCA-affiliated facilities
• Self-directed, confident, and positive demeanor with strong communication skills and a team-oriented approach
