Schedule / Job Type

Contract | 13 Weeks | Evening Shift (5x8 Hours, 2:30 PM – 11:00 PM) | Weekdays with possible weekends and holidays

Key Responsibilities

• Provide skilled perioperative nursing care across multiple surgical specialties in a busy, large hospital OR environment
• Support surgical procedures spanning General, GYN, Orthopedic, Neurological, and Robotic surgery
• Adapt to varying case assignments and specialty coverage needs as they arise throughout the contract
• Accurately document patient care using EPIC electronic health records
• Participate in shift coverage as needed, including occasional weekend and holiday assignments within the contract period

Required Qualifications

• Active RN license — South Carolina state license or compact license required and must be in hand at time of submission
• Basic Cardiac Life Support (BCLS) certification required
• Minimum of 2 years of Operating Room RN experience
• At least 1 prior travel assignment
• EPIC charting experience required
• Must reside more than 50 miles from the facility to be eligible

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Experience in Neurological and Orthopedic surgical specialties strongly preferred
• Robotic surgery experience (e.g., da Vinci or similar platforms)
• Comfort and versatility across multiple OR specialties including General and GYN
• Proven ability to thrive in a high-volume, fast-paced surgical environment
