Schedule / Job Type

Contract | Days | 5x8-Hour Shifts | 10:30 AM – 7:00 PM | Monday through Friday | Weekday, weekend, and holiday call expected | Onsite

Key Responsibilities

• Provide perioperative nursing care in an active operating room environment
• Fulfill mid-shift OR coverage from 10:30 AM to 7:00 PM, Monday through Friday
• Participate in weekday, weekend, and holiday call rotations as required
• May assume charge nurse duties as needed
• Maintain compliance with all required documentation and credentialing deadlines

Required Qualifications

• Active and in-hand RN license required at time of submission
• ACLS certification required
• BLS certification required
• NIHSS certification required
• Nursys verification required with submission
• SSNRTO required with submission
• Candidates must be available to complete required lab items within 72 hours of accepting an offer, or have a documented plan in place within that timeframe
• Must reside more than 110 miles from the facility to be eligible; local candidates will not be considered

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Prior travel nursing experience strongly preferred
• Experience with charge nurse responsibilities in an OR setting
• Familiarity with OR-specific protocols and perioperative standards of care
