Key Responsibilities

• Assess, plan, and implement direct clinical care for assigned patients on a per-shift basis
• Monitor and evaluate patient responses to treatment and adjust care plans accordingly
• Supervise clinical staff and delegate patient care tasks appropriately
• Support nursing leadership in ensuring high-quality, safe, and appropriate nursing care
• Contribute to competency evaluation and development of clinical staff
• Assist with appropriate resource management related to patient care at the unit level

Required Qualifications

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of Texas or compact eligibility
• Emergency Room / Emergency Department clinical experience
• Strong clinical assessment and critical thinking skills
• Ability to supervise and delegate care to clinical staff effectively

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Prior experience in a fast-paced Emergency Department setting
• Familiarity with resource management and unit-level operations
• Experience supporting nursing leadership or charge nurse responsibilities
