Schedule / Job Type

Contract | Travel | Days | 8:00 AM – 4:30 PM | Weekend rotation expected | 13-Week Assignment

Key Responsibilities

• Perform initial evaluations, develop and progress individualized treatment plans for inpatient rehabilitation and acute care patients
• Participate in care planning, team conferences, and discharge planning to support patient-centered outcomes
• Maintain productivity at or above 75% as required by unit standards
• Document patient care accurately using the Meditech EMR system
• Float to acute care as needed based on rehabilitation census
• Collaborate with an interdisciplinary therapy team to ensure quality, compassion-focused care

Required Qualifications

• Active Physical Therapist (PT) license valid in the state of Texas
• Minimum 1 year of experience as a Physical Therapist
• Inpatient rehabilitation experience is required; candidates without this experience will not be considered
• Ability to float to acute care settings as needed

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Acute care therapy experience
• Post-acute therapy services background
• Prior experience within HCA-affiliated facilities
