Key Responsibilities

Provide direct nursing care to laboring and postpartum patients in a Labor & Delivery setting
Monitor maternal and fetal well-being throughout the labor and delivery process
Operate independently as the sole L&D nurse on shift, demonstrating strong clinical judgment and autonomy
Manage an average of approximately 36 births per month
Respond to obstetric emergencies and coordinate care with the broader clinical team

Required Qualifications

Active Registered Nurse (RN) license
Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) certification required
Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required
Demonstrated experience in OB/Labor & Delivery nursing
Ability and comfort working independently as the only L&D nurse on shift

Preferred Experience / Skills

Advanced Fetal Heart Monitoring (FHM) certification preferred
Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification preferred
Experience in a low-volume or solo-coverage L&D environment
