Contract | 13 Weeks | Days | 6:30 AM – 4:30 PM | Expected 36 hours/week
Key Responsibilities
- Provide direct perioperative nursing care across a high-volume, multi-specialty operating room environment with up to 13 active OR suites
- Support a broad range of surgical procedures including trauma, general surgery, orthopedics, neurosurgery, open heart, robotics, burn, ophthalmology, gynecology, urology, ENT, plastics, and more
- Participate in rotating weekend call approximately every four weeks; call shifts may range from 2 to 12 hours and are used to fill evening and night staffing needs
- Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team of RNs and Certified Surgical Technologists across staggered shift coverage throughout the day and evening
- Maintain compliance with AORN standards including dress code and unit policies
- Document patient care accurately using the facility's EMR system (Meditech)
Required Qualifications
- Active Idaho RN license required at time of submission
- Minimum 3 years of operating room experience
- Trauma experience required
- Shift and call flexibility required
- BLS certification required
Preferred Experience / Skills
- CNOR certification
- Burn experience
- Robotic surgery experience
- Neurosurgery experience
