Key Responsibilities
- Perform initial assessments and develop comprehensive, individualized plans of care for adult and geriatric patients upon receiving physician orders, in accordance with departmental policies and standards of care
- Deliver outpatient physical therapy services at a satellite location with the expectation to float to inpatient as needed
- Expected to work one Saturday per month in the inpatient setting
- Provide direct supervision to patients and indirect supervision of rehabilitation technicians; provide general supervision of PT assistants in accordance with State Practice Acts
- Document and manage patient care using EPIC EMR
- Perform duties in a manner consistent with departmental policies, procedures, and established standards of treatment
Required Qualifications
- Active Physical Therapist (PT) license in good standing
- Minimum 1 year of physical therapy experience
- Outpatient physical therapy experience required
- Ability to float between outpatient satellite location and inpatient setting
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Active Missouri PT license in good standing
- Additional certifications relevant to outpatient physical therapy
- Experience working with adult and geriatric patient populations
