Key Responsibilities
- Perform nuclear medicine imaging procedures for inpatients, outpatients, and emergency room patients of all ages
- Support a full-service radiology department offering diagnostic radiology, nuclear medicine, ultrasound, CT, MRI, interventional radiography, bone density, and mammography
- Conduct venipuncture as required for nuclear medicine procedures
- Participate in quality control and quality assurance monitoring, including radiation protection for patients and staff
- Contribute to continuing education efforts and maintain compliance with departmental standards
Required Qualifications
- Minimum 2 years of current Nuclear Medicine Technologist experience in a hospital setting
- Active ARRT (N) or CNMT/NMTCB certification required
- Active American Heart Association (AHA) BLS certification required
- Venipuncture experience required
- Resume with any employment gaps over 30 days explained
- Locals are welcome; candidates residing within 50 miles of the facility are eligible to apply
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Prior travel assignment experience highly preferred
- Experience serving rural or community hospital patient populations
- Familiarity with a broad range of radiology modalities in a multi-service department
