Key Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care in an Intensive Care Unit (ICU) setting during night shift hours
- Monitor, assess, and respond to critically ill patients requiring intensive nursing intervention
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary care teams to develop and implement individualized patient care plans
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation in the facility's electronic medical records (EMR) system
- Adhere to all facility policies, state regulations, and applicable clinical protocols
Required Qualifications
- Active Registered Nurse (RN) license valid in the state of Florida
- Minimum 2 years of ICU nursing experience
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required
- Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification required
- NIH Stroke Scale (NIHSS) certification required
- Florida AHCA compliance required for placement
- Housing within 50 miles of the facility must be secured prior to acceptance; address must be provided upon acceptance (hotel accommodations are not sufficient)
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Experience working in a travel nursing capacity or fast-paced critical care environment
- Familiarity with electronic medical records (EMR) systems used in acute care settings
- Strong adaptability and ability to integrate quickly into existing care teams
